Screen Porch
Thank you ConchaVera Construction!! I've been craving this project for years. My old deck was an eye-sore, and I wasn't confident that it was even stable. Danny and his team did so much more than just build my new screen room. He guided me through every step of the way - from design advice to the practical and financial ramifications of my choices.
Some day we'll convert this three season to a four season. Danny already has it framed and ready for when that day arrives - and ConchaVera Construction will be the company I hire for it.

Construction Phase
This owner had a 2nd floor balcony coming off of their kitchen, with entry from two doors onto plain unseasoned wood, encircled with a plain railing. The space was deep enough to fit a bistro table and two chairs.
The owner wanted a much larger space, that could be connected to a second deck around the house, and that could be screened in and perhaps someday become a four season room. The current framing was barely sufficient for the balcony in place, and not properly tied into the house. To make this happen, we needed to cut away the old, without harming the house, and build out new framing.
New build began with the aspects no one will ever see again - the concrete footings and support beams tied into the house. Knowing that the owner wants to move toward four season, we framed for that weight load before moving into building the structure required for the current project: a 3 season screen porch.
With this screen porch overlooking the beautiful NH woods, the owner wanted to optimize views. So we designed the porch leveraging a great screening product that could handle the long spans between supports and would snap in to enable ease of maintenance.
Finished Living Space - Three Season Porch
Warm woods and inset lighting makes this space perfect for entertaining at any hour, even during black fly season. Continuing the owner's preferred cedar shakes on the interior wall gives a gently rustic feel while ensuring consistency with the main house.
