Dan and his team took on a complex renovation/restoration project at a time when most contractors were booked 1-to-2 years out, simply because he loves to work on old houses.  His multi-faceted background and broad spectrum of skills gave us confidence that our on-the-fly designs, and redesigns when necessary, would be implemented with the respect and care a 200-year old house needs.

 I would recommend Dan in a heartbeat.  Not only is he an accomplished general contractor, he is a thoughtful and honest person by nature.  He respected our contributions to the project and always gave us options and choices on how to proceed when the unexpected arose -- as it always does during renovations.
